THE GLOBAL CYBERLYMPICS ORGANIZING COMMITTEE (GCOC)

The mandate of the Global CyberLympics Organizing Committee is as follows:
- Identify suitable venues and locations to hold the regional and world championships across all continents globally
- Identify and appoint suitable partners to co-host individual events
- Identify and appoint suitable organizations to promote the Games
- Designing a comprehensive series of competitive cyber games that covers as much of important elements of information security as possible
- Ensuring the proficiency of all eligible competitors to uphold the quality of the Games
- Ensuring that the Global CyberLympics initiative meets it overall mission and objectives

Jay Bavisi
GCOC - Chairman
|
Jay Bavisi is the Co-Founder and President of EC-Council, a global leader in information security education, training, and certification. It is the owner and developer of the internationally accepted certification standards including the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Jay led the efforts in establishing the partnership with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), an arm of the United Nations, via the International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber Threats (IMPACT) to develop sustainable knowledge and capabilities in information security awareness amongst government agencies in 194 member countries.
As the Chairman of the Global CyberLympics Organizing Committee, Jay leads and directs the GCOC, and ensures that the GCOC adheres to the Organizing Committee’s mandate, and achieve the mission and objectives of the Global CyberLympics. |

Dan Callahan
Program Director
|
Dan Callahan is the Director of Public Sector and Enterprise Affairs for EC-Council. He is the primary liaison with Government/Enterprise wide programs and collaborates with other security certification partners, academia, and EC-Council Authorized Training Centers (ATC). Dan focuses on alliance partnerships that can help individuals, industry, and world wide Governments gain a clear career mapping to industry wide accepted credentials; such as formal education, training, and certification.
As the Program Director of Global CyberLympics Organization Committee, Dan's primary role is to ensure and execute the shared vision of the Organization Committee. Dan will interface with media, alliance partnerships, and other associations who wish to support and participate in the Games.

Janelle McLean is the Client Engagement Manager for EC-Council. As the Client Engagement Manager, she supports day-to-day operations and the tactical execution of the Federal and Enterprise program. Some of those operations include: identification and implementation of new business, recovery solutions, capabilities development, and management of critical business areas like formal education, and partnerships.
As the Program Coordinator of the Global CyberLympics Organization Committee, Janelle is responsible for planning and coordinating all operational facets of CyberLympics, along with the solicitation and scheduling of events.
